The sunrises, the sunsets
The routines, the long walks
The nights in the shadows
The whispers and long talks
The dreams of tomorrows
When there's no one left
To remember your story
When they all have passed
You've still those days of glory
Making a game of chores
Of setting up camp
Of carrying things indoors
The sweet hugs, the laughs
The big oopsys
The funny moments
The wild crazys
Let the tears open
Your own little mark
On the earth before you go
Each a little spark
Adds light for others to grow

Thank you . he absolutely loved camping and we would have a game of how fast we could get everything ready for camping and at camp how fast we could set up. he loved watching sunsets with me. he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed help
A marriage is the most intimate of bonds. You come together, and each one becomes part of a whole, almost a single being. Every thought, every decision, is affected by them, is made with the understanding of what they want and need You fall into a routine of facing the world together, relying on each other, working like a perfect team. It becomes what defines you. And suddenly, they are gone. No closure, no reason for it that you can wrap your head around, and suddenly your reason for so much of what you did, isnt there anymore. Its damned hard, the absence never goes away, some days ypu dont even want to leave the house, even though everywhere you look you see artifacts they left behind...a coffee mug, a shirt hanging in the back of the closet, a thousand different things You sometimes feelnisolated from the rest of the world, and cant remember how to reach out and engage with people anymore. But you have to keep on, keep surviving one day at a time. Because, thats what they would want you to do. You arent alone. And you are understood
He was 36 when he died. Everything died with him & to be cut off like that hurts. Talking helps so if you'd like to talk about him, please share. Many of us are out there that will listen.
