What is it like to be a carpenter
A shepherd, a teacher, and a healer
In any one of these roles, He is exemplar
You can trust your soul with this leader
What is it like to be a preacher or lawyer
Who, above all, needs to have the last word?
These were they who went after our Savior
In this trial they controlled what was said and heard
The illegal trial of one, Jesus Christ
Ultimately fulfilled our Father's plan
For His life was required to pay the price
To know and atone for every man
The Lord is never passive
To scorn, or keep you at length
His compassion is massive!
He offers courage and strength!
Turn to our atoning Savior
Repent. Bring with you all of your pain
Take courage. You are safe, for
Where you've been, you won't have to explain
Turn to our atoning Savior
And feel sweet joy and peace
Feel His light surround you
And your gratitude increase
He is everything to everyone
Praise and wonder at His love
for all that He is and has done
