God cherishes life. It is His work and His glory to bring immortality and eternal life to His children.

Profoundly difficult and agonizing uncertainty can accompany the protection of life. When a woman and a man are in such a fragile time facing a crucial choice, our words, our hands, our hearts—spiritually, emotionally, and financially—can bless them to feel the Savior’s love.

The marriage of your life

With so many choices and alluring paths before you, it will require strength of heart and mind to boldly, without distraction or deception, “settle this in your heart” and walk the road less traveled toward the Savior.

Spiritual Survival- Tune In

 

I heard the advice again!

This time with ears to hear

This added witness given

The call for action's here

Conference is wonderful

The spirit is felt, tune in

For, they do more than fill

Those impressions? Yes, do, them

We will not spiritually survive

In the coming days ahead

Unless we change our lives

To act on the spirit and be led

If we're to not be deceived

We must feel the spirit always

It is not enough just to believe

For Satan is now cunning in more ways

In such a great time as this

With so many tools for ease

There's also a constant noise

Crowding out spiritual peace

Pray and give thanks often

Fill your mind with God's words

Receive Light to act on

Stay where the spirit's heard

Wrapped in Forgiveness

To be spiritually wrapped in forgiveness within

Thus, He who humbly submits and asks for the Father's will

Can know, feel, and find a peace that's sweetly still

Since repentance is a journey, not a one-time event

We petition daily and weekly partake of the sacrament

There to check on our progress as though on a mountain peak

Where we can see life more clearly through the spirit that we seek

Oft still to the repentant, Godly sorrow remains

To remind us never again to do what truly pains

Ever as we're laboring against the devil's tightening bands

We can find Him who has graven us in the palms of His hands

Repentance always means brighter days lie ahead

Midst a residue of past mistakes filtering in our head

Forsaking our sins requires restoration and time

Unto the healing peace of conscience as the anguish subsides

Let us take counsel and in good works be about

Putting off the natural man who would that we doubt

Let us be unselfish, honest, and more pure

Being patient and kind that our spirituality endure

Let us ever hear the bidding of our Lord calling our name

And pray that each in our family will in deed do the same

Minister Again and Again

Just as dew daily comes, let Heaven

Nourish and bathe you in light    

Fed with faith, in thanks, given

Minister much through insight.

Minister- give time, converse, encourage

“It takes time, conversations 
and encouraging experience 
that will help rebuild faith,”

“It comes more like the dew from heaven 
than a one-time blast from a fire hose.

as you help someone turn back to God, 
again relying on the Savior

When President Henry B. Eyring was a teenager, his family moved to a new city. He initially found the move unpleasant and made few friends. He felt like he didn’t fit in with the students in his high school. The whirlwinds were swirling. What did he do? He threw his energy into the Book of Mormon, reading it many times.¹⁷ Years later, President Eyring testified: “I [love to] go back to the Book of Mormon and drink deeply and often.”¹⁸ “[It] is the most powerful written testimony we have that Jesus is the Christ.”¹⁹

Who will the mansions in Heaven be for?  the family- We are a part of God's family. His plan of eternal happiness is intended for families. The mansions will not consist of harems given to attend to one's every need. It will be a home of honor and love.

The Lord had inspired both President Patrick and Sister Palmer, but for a miracle they didn’t expect. We cannot always see the end from the beginning. We trust in the Lord and wait upon Him, knowing that in His own time and His own way, He will bring about His miracles. While the Lord was inspiring President Patrick and Sister Palmer, He was also preparing Sister Valerie Adams, a less-active member who hadn’t been back to the Church in more than a decade. Sister Adams’s son Braden and Rhett Palmer were already friends from school.

Our Baptisms were Low

Our baptisms were low
We looked where we could be strong
Our numbers to grow
Through reactivation's song.

Where once we had been weak
Light touched those around
Who brings more in who seek
To know what they have found

We were having a terrible time having baptisms in our ward. They were very low, and we realized that the Lord would not bless us with new converts until we took care of the people in our ward that we already had.

A Miracle Comes

A miracle comes
Not as we expect...
As God speaks to us,
His love we detect!

We wait upon the Lord, knowing that miracles will follow our faith.
Nephi said that he was “led by the Spirit, not knowing beforehand the things which [he] should do” (1 Nephi 4:6). This is the way of a disciple. We don’t always know what is ahead, but the Lord does, and as we trust in Him, He leads us by the hand, and His miracles follow. I love the Lord’s declaration, “I am a God of miracles; … and I work not among the children of men save it be according to their faith” (2 Nephi 27:23).

God Won't Let Us Fail

God won't let us fail
When we wait upon Him
Have faith. All is well.
The heavens will open.

There’s been a big change in how much we love these people. We’re all in it together, and we’re a whole bunch of imperfect leaders. And the biggest difference is that we know it’s His work; He won’t let us fail if we do the best we can.
