As to blessings it leads

I have a wallet, phone, chapstick, a dog bag, keys, gum, and receipts to throw away.

I Can Be An Example Though I'm Just One

I can be an example, though I'm just one
Of a righteous believer in the Son
In word, in spirit, in faith, and in purity
In conversation, too, and in charity

The Savior Jesus Christ trusts me with His name
And I want to represent Him just the same
As part of a generation with destiny
I know that others will be drawn to me

Through the power of faith, I've influence
To show God's standards of excellence
I'll make every decision pass this test:
What will this do for me to be my best?

I'll partake and renew my covenants each week
For the constant companionship that I seek
Then I, just one, can make a difference in the world
Till the dawning of a brighter day is unfurled

By small and simple things are great things brought to pass
And there are three things I've been challenged to task
To pray, to smile, and to read the Book of Mormon each day
That people will be drawn to me for a happy way

I cannot neglect the gift that is in me
For through hands it has been given through prophecy
I'll live worthy for the blessings that through me flow
I'll attend to my duties, and strive ever to grow

We can see the end
From the beginning
As with hearts we tend
To righteous living

If we trust the Lord
And learn to obey
We are in accord
For a chosen way

The priesthood we bear
Is a force for good
We extend God's care
And do as He would

When we're positive
And self- disciplined
We've freedom to live
And with laws we blend

God's hand's over us
He knows what's latent
There is much to trust
That's beyond this moment

We have potential
And God knows each strength
What is essential
To reach high at length?

For the Strength of Youth
Gives temple standards
We must live its truths
To our core innards

Though we are challenged
With uncertain times
We're not discouraged
There's work, as one climbs

Doubts we entertain
And frustrations too
Help Satan to reign
Our ears are his tool

He whispers "give up,
You will not succeed"
But, that's not enough!
We know God does lead

We know we must learn
To follow God's will
For this we must yearn
For this we must thrill

The Spirit tell us
Whom we should follow
Our Beloved Jesus
Our Lord, we'll all know

May we recognize
Our need to convert
The atonement buys
We must not revert

Immortality!
Plus eternal life!
Principality
Bought with all our strife

It is for this end
That we can see now
May our heart now tend
To what God would to endow

Do Your Duty- That is Best

"Do your duty that is best
Leave unto the Lord the rest "
There is much for you to share
From your heart, thus prepare
Then, in each call or meeting
Testify while speaking
There is much that you will learn
From the Holy Ghost, in turn

Do your part among men
Be an example, quite often
In activities and quorums
Honor and serve those who govern
Become a good home teacher
Show care and be a leader
In example and in truth
This will bless you through your youth

As you develop more and grow
The body too, will show
As you engage in sports made fun
You will find achievements won
There to track your best progress
And clear your mind from what does stress
As you find, you are more in shape
You are kinder as moods moderate

Awake, you have a duty
To learn all that you should be
As you trek that sacred walk
Stand tall, prepared to talk
This program's sent across the globe
For your future path to probe
Better sons, brothers, and friends
Your new mission call extends

Do not underestimate
All that for you does await
Live the motto every day
Let it help you walk in faith
It will sustain you throughout your life
And be a strength through all strife
You will be prepared to be a man
To respond to duty in God's plan

For The Strength of the Youth

All over the world parents are concerned
For the strength of the youth and what they have learned
To all the young men
and our young women
The First Presidency
has frankly spoken:

They love you, and have confidence in you
Of things that are right, they hope that you'll do
You are choice spirits reserved for this day
When you've temptations, you can always pray

A righteous life is full of happiness
Which can be lost with desires that areee foolish
You can live standards that will help your peers
You can reach out, and lift and help them to steer

There's burdens of guilt when you self- indulge
The father of lies will always divulge
He'll leave you fallen with a shattered life
We pray that you will avoid all this strife

Opportunities abound, there's no rest
As obligations are at their greatest
The Holy Ghost is the highest blessing
You'll have direction, there'll be less guessing

A constant and calming companionship
Can keep you from Satan's ever strong grip
You can keep your bodies and your minds clean
And walk tall through a spiritual guiding

If you are confused there's much you can do
As you believe all that the church has told you
You'll know that you been prepared for this earth
That you came to win, and you have great worth
