I put a lot of thought into these words and it might be as close to a poem as it is going to get.
First, there is avoidance, the act of ignorance. ("I don't know what you're talking about!")
Then, comes the misleading lie, set to confuse. ( "You must be mistaken!")
Last, the denial one cannot ignore hence
As it is abusive, defensive and designed to accuse! ("How dare you!
You must stop accusing me!
It is you who knew him!" Like a bully, the words are meant to shut you up.)
