Gather witnesses, yes, but know for yourself

That God is real, AND heaven and hell

Paul, once Saul, told his first hand account

His martyrdom's price was his truth to tell

Add Matthew, Mark, and Luke

And John the Beloved, who saw the miracles

As, did Peter, James, and Jude

They died for sharing His words and parables

You can go back and read of all these accounts

But, for their testimonies to have an affect

You need to prayerfully ask Him yourself

Then, through faith, feel the spirit make an impact!

Add your witness to the many all around

That God, His Son and the Holy Ghost are real

That answers and miracles still abound

That a testimony is something to bear and feel

Once you know all of this, you know the pattern of faith

That His church is upon the earth once more

The Repentance Coach- Point Them To the Healer

Every Sunday for five years

I open my office for the repentant

They come confessing with tears

Their worst sins or the struggles they have as an addict

This is my call as a judge

I am thirty, many are twice my age

Oft, I turn the lights off alone

And pray in the dark, pleading for strength

The answer came early one morning

The light caught on a picture of Jesus

I felt how He treated a sinner, mourning

With love He listened, then pointed them towards healing

My job is to shepherd, to coach the way

I point them to Jesus who can mend their wounds

Their guilt, their regrets, their sorrow, their pain

Moroni served well his people

Until they were no more

Being chased, he escaped evil

He kept and wrote for the Lord

Angel Mother Sent

Mommy didn't want to go

She fought through cancer, to live

Her love for you, both, still grows

As an angel mother sent

Her words could not come out

To prepare and say goodbye

God is real. Do not doubt

When reading of children losing their mother to cancer and looking at the family pictures brings you to tears, don't think it is creepy.  It is from the celebration of the love they have and feeling the pain they are going through.

I Was Blind Now I See - The God That Doest Wonders

There will always be many miracles

If we look to see with spiritual eyes

And tune our ears to beyond, this, our world

To manifestations of God in our lives

It is hard to argue with true results

His power transcends understanding

Though the arrogant may try to deny

When, you are the one left in awe, standing

One Sabbath day, Jesus saw a man 

Who had been blind, even since his birth

Then Jesus anointed him with mud

The Pharisees claimed evil was but at work

A controversy rose in the upper ranks

Was He a man of miracles or not?

Would He perform such on the given day of rest

They asked the blind man to be taught

Making eye contact with each one present

This a new and precious privilege

He told them Jesus was a prophet

But, they decided the miracle was not of Jesus

They told the once blind man to give God the praise

That Jesus, healing on the Sabbath, proved Him a sinner

The man replied He knew not, save that he could see

Later, cast out, Jesus taught Him and a witness did enter

I was blind and now I see

A miracle was handed me

By, Jesus, who I am worshipping

The Son of God, in whom I believe

With eyes to see and ears to hear

He knew physically and spiritually

Save momentarily, his eyes blurred tearing

He knew it was love that taught him, clearly

Together we have shared many choice spiritual moments. We have borne testimony in camps around campfires, in chapels, and in firesides. We have been warmed by the fire of our faith. We have climbed mountains and unfurled golden banners—from Brazil to Bountiful—signifying the commitment deep within our hearts to remain virtuous and to always be worthy to enter the temple. We have prayed, read the Book of Mormon, and smiled every day, and together with our mothers, grandmothers, and leaders, we are working on our Personal Progress. And we have only just begun!

Young women of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, remember who you are! You are elect. You are daughters of God. You cannot be a generation of young women who are content to fit in. You must have the courage to stand out, to “arise and shine forth, that thy light may be a standard for the nations.”10 The world would have you believe that you are not significant—that you are out of fashion and out of touch. The world calls to you with unrelenting, noisy voices to “live it up,” “try everything,” “experiment and be happy.” Conversely, the Holy Ghost whispers and the Lord invites you to “walk in the paths of virtue,” “lay aside the things of this world,” “and cleave unto [your] covenants.”11

I am not for abortion. Is he totally against abortion or starting at one pound? A one pound baby is 26 weeks/ 6 months and the mother is feeling life stir within her! Regarding abortion conceived through rape/incest- (my view) I see it as another innocent victim.

I know a couple who tried for years to get pregnant and then when they did it was non life sustaining and died stillborn and premature.  They are now going through the adoption process.  Adoption is always an answer...

It is Flat Out Unlawful and Wrong

It is flat out unlawful and wrong
To say that churches do not belong
In the court room or the public square
As it is a freedom they also share

When it comes to families and moral values
Who better to help us strengthen statues
To help unite us as one under God
Preserved as a nation with freedoms for all

Let us stand firm to the standard old tradition
Of marriage as it's been made legal by definition
Let the word remain as it has for thousands of years
And let this message open up those with opposing ears

If those that are not one woman, one man
Would like a union- let it be just that
Call it another name-the choice to be theirs
Let us move on to bigger and humbling cares

Let us consider the sanctity of life
And the responsiblity of husband and wife
Let us strengthen these homes for the children they bare
And offer our prayers, support, and kind care

Too, let us find those who would seek an abortion
And offer them hope, or at least a small portion
Let us open their eyes unto the best option
The beauty of life, family, and adoption

Let us match up the unborn ever voiceless
With couples who are mourning they are childless
Let us think long of the generations to come
And what our nation, united, can then become


"This isn't about denying anyone rights. It's about changing the definition of a word that carries significant doctrinal and historical significance for many people of faith. I got involved with watching this video.  One part discussed abortion and was interviewing women on both sides.  I loved what one said.  We will go to war to protect lives and freedom but some women will not lay down their lives for nine months to protect the life of their unborn child, which they then can put up for adoption.

Here is my story of finding God.

It started with a desire. I went to church with anyone who invited me. I joined one.  But, I didn't connect in some way. I never was tutored along. I worked at another one's day care for a while. Two of my sisters were married there. So far, in my journey, I never learned to pray,

Then, one day I tried it by holding my breath and wishing with all my heart.  I felt words. It was a sacred experience! I found The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. There have been many since. When you share spiritual experiences with others there is a spirit you feel, that is indescribable..

  I would like to share this with you, dear atheist.
