What shall we do with Jesus
As He bids, "Come follow me," 

Each day unchain divinity within 
And allow Him to lead the Way

Let us prove our physical stamina
And stand taller to apply each teaching
There is a calm courage within us
When we feel His pure Light reaching

The greatest need in all the world

Is to have a relationship with Him

To read and reflect on His word

And recognize revelation within

Recently in South America, a seasoned group of outstanding missionaries was asked, “What is the greatest need in the world?” One wisely responded: “Is not the greatest need in all of the world for every person to have a personal, ongoing, daily, continuing relationship with the Savior?” Having such a relationship can unchain the divinity within us, and nothing can make a greater difference in our lives as we come to know and understand our divine relationship with God.
We should earnestly seek not just to know about the Master, but to strive, as He invited, to be one with Him (see John 17:21), to “be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man” (Eph. 3:16).

It is my testimony that we are facing difficult times. We must be courageously obedient. My witness is that we will be called upon to prove our spiritual stamina, for the days ahead will be filled with affliction and difficulty. But with the assuring comfort of a personal relationship with the Savior, we will be given a calming courage.

The Stripling Warriors

The stripling warriors
Numbered but two thousand
At best they were juniors
But their devotion was grand

For they did not doubt
What their mother’s knew
As they went about
Their faith grew and grew

They pledged they would fight
For, their father’s could not
As they grew in might
With courage, they fought

In God they trusted
As their swords swung about
Though soon blood encrusted...
They answered each shout

Then, as the dust settled
And the battle was through
The youth assembled
And astonishment grew

Though some wounds were great
And there were many dead
Not one youth fell to fate
And, some enemies had fled!

With help from their mother's
And their leader Helaman
These two thousand brothers
Each rose to be a man

For the Latter day
Great youth have been reserved
As they grow in faith
May they, too, be preserved

They must take on armor
To fight off the foe
And the battle they arm for
Is the greatest man will know

The Passage of Time

The passage of time dims our old memories

There Was a Test in the Spirit World

There was a test
In the spirit world
Ending peace and rest
As words were hurled

One third of heaven
Forever failed
God's plan was given

Elder Holland said. “We owe the same pioneering, persevering legacy to our children and our children’s children.”

Elder Holland spoke at the Ogden (Utah) Pioneer Days Devotional at the Dee Events Center at Weber State University on July 17, 2011, and encouraged individuals to work together while respecting and emulating their diverse pioneer heritage in their communities today.

“People working together are more successful, more prosperous and much more happy than neighborhoods or ethnic groups or religious faiths that are suspicious of one another, threatened by one another, and all too often hostile, even violent, toward one another,” he said.

This was inspired by comments to a man who posted the picture of his boots and stated it was his last day serving America as a soldier of 14 years.
Jon Gregory You might want to put a brush to those boots before you lace em up. LOL Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you have done what most Americans can only wish they would have done. Courage is a trait that most will never know if they have it, but you my friend have been there and done it, and supported those of us that stood by your side. I will never forget how you reached out to me from Oceans away and supported me and my team with a simple box from the Homefront. You will never know what that meant to me and my Soldiers. Thank you for you Service and sacrifice to this Great Country

For Such a Time as This

Courageous Adoption

The boys were born in Iraq. The mum stayed in Iraq , during the war, until she could finally take them to Australia.

Of course, we will face fear, experience ridicule, and meet opposition. Let us have the courage to defy the consensus, the courage to stand for principle. Courage, not compromise, brings the smile of God’s approval. Courage becomes a living and an attractive virtue when it is regarded not only as a willingness to die manfully, but also as a determination to live decently. A moral coward is one who is afraid to do what he thinks is right because others will disapprove or laugh. Remember that all men have their fears, but those who face their fears with dignity have courage as well.

According to how the Spirit imparts
