The science of happiness
Is found in the left frontal lobe.
Meditate how and witness,
Through prayer, you need not feel alone
Build up a social circle,
Forget yourself and be giving,
Laugh, smile, tackle hurtles,
And get out- serving and living
The science of happiness
Is found in the left frontal lobe.
Meditate how and witness,
Through prayer, you need not feel alone
Build up a social circle,
Forget yourself and be giving,
Laugh, smile, tackle hurtles,
And get out- serving and living
Attend church and be renewed
Be uplifted despite life's burdens
Be a friend, give a hand, smile
Find the faith to cross life's hurdles
Verse 1]
The science of happiness
Is found in the left frontal lobe
Meditate how and witness
Through prayer, you need not feel alone
[Chorus]
Build up a social circle
Forget yourself and be giving
Laugh, smile, tackle hurdles
Get out serving and living
[Verse 2]
Attend church and be renewed
Be uplifted despite life's burdens
Be a friend, give a hand, smile
Find the faith to cross life's hurdles
[Chorus]
Build up a social circle
Forget yourself and be giving
Laugh, smile, tackle hurdles
Get out serving and living
[Bridge]
When the road feels hard beneath you
Let a helping hand come near
Share the weight and share the laughter
Hope grows stronger when we care
[Final Chorus]
Build up a social circle
Forget yourself and be giving
Laugh, smile, tackle hurdles
Get out serving and living
[Outro]
Find the faith to cross life's hurdles
Find the faith to keep on living
I love this quote: "There is great purpose in our struggle in life”(That All May Be Edified [1982], 94). Boyd K. Packer
How will we find that purpose? meditation, getting out,
Meditation- church is a time to be renewed, start fresh, receive inspiration, and be uplifted despite the burdens of life. If you go to church overwhelmed- may someone notice and share a smile, a hand, and be your friend.
