My brother left for his mission
Now, my room. I moved his things out
I hung a picture of Jesus calming and standing on the water
Helping Peter in the storm, in his moment of doubt
This, I feel, was when they learned to worship
Jesus, not for his miracles, or His labor
In awe, As He walked Peter back to the ship
They knelt down, honoring Him as their Savior
This has great meaning to me
As I felt I had been sent out in a storm
Alone and would soon drown in my sins
Ashamed , how I desperately needed the Lord
I knew I was living a lie
And was tired of covering it up
I felt like Satan had me by the neck
But all my lies were just too much
The Spirit prompted me to talk with my dad
Sunken, in tears, I confessed I was struggling
He hugged me, he prayed for me and
We turned to Jesus, ever humbly
I learned to ask Him do the impossible
Even to save me from porn, from myself
He sent me on a mission, the first step
And with my dad I went to a bridge and tossed my phone
This moment, I call joyful worship
With Jesus looking after the welfare of my soul
His love changing what I want to focus on
