Memorial Day reminds me that freedom is never free.
Freedom is never free
Many have died that we might be
a nation soverign
Enjoying liberty
In defense of our nation
Our families our God
Our privilege to freely station
This is never for naught
Love is not wasted
Death does not get the final word
To those who carry the cost
And to those we've lost
Thank you
To cover all mankind with love
One Jesus died for all of us
Sins, pains, He knows what we're made of
From our worst, He offers freedom
Victory has been made
From death and hell we may flee
The ultimate price was paid
It is from sacrifice we are made free
