Holiness to the Lord

Holiness to the Lord
Is written above the door
Of a dedicated temple
That's serves all of God's people

A sacred ceremony
Washes, annoints, endows, and seals
To warm a testimony
Of the sacredness there one feels

For this day one must prepare
Beginning with confirmation
Then as a guest one's welcomed there
To lengthen out dedication

The Lord's ordained servant
Issues each recommend
Through worthiness and resolve
A new way of life is opened

Every soul in this life or the next
Will have an opportunity
To have the gospel close to inspect
To reject or accept sacred unity
