The Temple Itself is a Symbol
The temple itself is a symbol
As it is such an impressive sight
That as the world becomes more dismal
The House of the Lord is more bathed in light
In a private dressing space
The street clothes are exchanged for white
And as all things in a locker are placed
Daily concerns are also locked away tight
The quiet and serene takes over
And distractions seem to settle out
The fog and the haze lift their cover
That clear thoughts and solutions come about
No work is more of a protection
As labor in the temple covers us with a shield
No work is more spiritually refining
So come and claim the blessings it does yield
