With all my heart, With all my soul
I lift my voice to testify in my new role
As a witness, I here declare
That God lives. He came with Christ, answering a prayer
Our Redeemer and Elohim
Here in the flesh. Can we picture or comprehend?
He gave His life, out of His love
He Mediates and remembers us from above
May His blessings come upon us
While in our homes, in our workplace, in our service
With gratitude, we've looked backward
And may we give of ourselves as we move forward
With fervency, and a love that gives me strength,
I now offer all that I have to serve at length
In accordance unto the Lord's will
I'll direct His church affairs, till my days are stilled.
I found President Monson's words so touching, I wrote them in poetry.
