Our Prophet Calls- Come Back

Though sin and selfishness can take their toll
A change for the better can come unto all
Over the years, we have issued appeals
In the pathway of life, there is much one feels
To the offended, the critical and transgressor
Come back and feast again at the table of the Lord
Come and taste again the sweet and satisfying fruits
Fellowship with the Saints, our invitation issues.

Conscience and spirit are actuary
They can be our private sanctuary
Come cast off the old person and measure
To true potential and to true stature
We're now reaching out to you with the pure love of Christ
He calls out- His yoke is easy, His burden is light
Come find rest to your souls as you strive to learn of Him
He's meek and lowly in heart- He'll heal you from within

To all those who are wounded in spirit
And with great fears are struggling to bear it
The departure from road markers leaves tears
Let us lift you and cheer you and calm your fears
On the detour with a dead end, there are casualties
Come find the markers pointing toward eternities
From indifference, carelessness, selfishness, and sin
Let us begin again, and together we will win!

Matt. 11: 28-30

28 ¶ Come unto me, all ye that labour
and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
