We give thanks, in gratitude
Unto the Lord, for He is good
Enduring, His mercy is there
Forever we may feel His care
In fear, in distress
We may call upon Him
In all ways, we're blessed
We trust Him above man
Haters encompass about
Bashing, that we might fall
Trusting we do not doubt
The gates of righteousness is our call
The cornerstone is at the head
This is the day which the Lord hath made
Whom He loveth, He doth chasten
He is our strength and our salvation
We give thanks, in gratitude
Unto the Lord, for He is good
Enduring, His mercy is there
Forever we may feel His care
Psalms 118
A messianic psalm—Let all Israel say of the Lord, His mercy endures forever—The Stone that the builders refused is become the headstone of the corner—Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
