Do your mistakes cause you to lament?
Our imperfect troubling sick natures
Shows how us much we need the Savior
A wise Cherokee told his grandson:
Two wolves live inside everyone
One is full of anger, greed, and oft lies
The other is full of love, truth and is kind
Self-pity and humility battle within
Inside, is it the good wolf or the bad wolf that will win?
We must yield to the enticings of the good
Prayerfully, putting off the bad, as we should
For the natural man is an enemy inside
And is very put off by the atonement of Christ
When we become as a child, submissive and meek
There is naught inside that he can control, or want to seek
Always remember the wolf that wins to lead
Is the one that you continually heed and feed
When someone offends you or you want what you cannot have
Remember these wolves and submit to the wisdom the good one has

19 For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.
