From our latter day prophet

Have you more than heard

But kept with you for profit?

Added to my bible

Is a quote that oft I read

When my faith feels feeble

I recall it's God I need

And I come to myself

To a time the spirit burned

In a way more than felt

Because God spoke and I learned

May we all do likewise

For it is easy to forget

In this world of darkness

We've Christ's glorious light within!

Yes, the soul illuminates

We dare not go passive

For Satan looms and he waits

To dim God's words for they free lives

Come and be nearer to God

And bask in the spirit

And help others hear Him

We really are born again

Spiritually unto light

I've had this quote taped to the back page of my bible for the last 15 years... it is one I love. "The experience of each individual who is really born again is similar to the experience of Alma and the sons of Mosiah, although it may not be so dramatic. The effect upon each person's life is likewise similar. No person whose soul is illuminated by the burning Spirit of God can in this world of sin and dense darkness remain passive.
