Calm Me I Pray

 Helpless

What can be done?  Wait

Praying

Hoping for the best

A miracle

A sign of love

The need now full

Asking

For prayers goes out

Seeking

For faith about

The wait

Goes on and on

In faith

I must be strong

The accident

Came in an instant

Crushing haunting

Seeking peace

To hold me together

Praying please

Heavenly Father

For peace, be still

not mine but Thy will

Flow through me

Spirit and love

Calm me

my heart

my bowels

my nerves

For breath

I'm out

The wait is hard

All that alarms

Calls near and far

Calm me, I pray
