Eleventh Hour

I arrived late

And sat in the back

Just to partake

Not to be looked at

It's the eleventh hour

And I feel His call

The Lord in His power

Knows I'm fresh from a fall

Though a huge thorn

Keeps getting pushed in

I'm here for the Lord

And everyone sins

May no one cast

A stone my way

That was my past

Christ knows. He paid

I'm here for the Lord

Not rejection and scorn

How I love the Lord

My sorrows He's borne

True to my vow

I left at the hymn

The prayer, my own

With the Lord. Just Him

Renewed I felt

Perfectly clean

By Him, I felt

So loved and seen

I am filled with hope

For a better world

For feeling at home

In my family ward

[Verse 1] I arrived late And sat in the back Just to partake Not to be looked at It's the eleventh hour And I feel His call The Lord in His power Knows I'm fresh from a fall [Pre-Chorus] Though a huge thorn Keeps getting pushed in I'm here for the Lord And everyone sins May no one cast A stone my way That was my past Christ knows, He paid [Chorus] I'm here for the Lord Not rejection and scorn I'm here for the Lord And my heart is reborn True to my vow I left at the hymn The prayer, my own With the Lord, just Him [Verse 2] Renewed I felt Perfectly clean By Him, I felt So loved and seen I am filled with hope For a better world For feeling at home In my family ward [Bridge] Though the road was long And my shame ran deep You found me there When I could not speak Every broken piece You held in Your hand Now I stand and sing I am in Your plan [Chorus] I'm here for the Lord Not rejection and scorn I'm here for the Lord And my heart is reborn True to my vow I left at the hymn The prayer, my own With the Lord, just Him [Outro] I arrived late But I was not lost I came with my need And You counted the cost Renewed I felt Perfectly clean With the Lord, just Him That's where I believe
