In the Bitter Cup's Dregs- The Wrath of God

 Praying, in Gethsemane,

Jesus suffered all our pains.

The bitter cup was emptied

More....the fierce wrath of God came!

More.. dreadful than Hell can offer

More... shameful than all our sins

More...painful than how we suffer

To pay in FULL the wrath of God begins!

T'was a bloodied tear stained cheek

Judas kissed in betrayal

But Jesus suffered it, meek

Greeting, "Friend"...His to pay for ALL!

How thankless man, He forgave all the while

For Christ knew Hell and considered the source

His worst trial would be of  God's trial

His sentence, our debt, He paid in full 

and , then, He finished the course

Yes, He fought the good fight and finished the course!
