Consistent Prayer

 

In the world’s commotion of today. 

Turmoil and rumors of wars are real. 

The economies threaten to tank

While surrounding wickedness, we feel

We know the prophecies of old

And see the Savior’s return draws near.

Now, we as Latter-Day Saints around the world

Are flooding Heaven with faith filled prayers

In public, and in private, we petition

For peace for comfort for those we love

And in need, we ask for direction

And trust in God’s timing from above

Always, we pray in the name of the Lord

We know He watches over us with care

We feel His peace and abiding support

As all our good and hard moments we share

Yes, we strive to be consistent in prayer

For we know He listens and is always there
