With the sun on my face
I closed my eyes and marveled
On what's good to embrace:
A loved one, a soft pet,
kind words, paid off debt,
Yourself- don't forget,
A song, music in the heart,
Rain, when the clouds, then part
Vacations, adventures to start
A talent, change, a call,
The tearing down of a wall...
Smile. Give thanks for them all!
