Morning and Evening Prayers are Inseparably Linked
As we counsel with the Lord
And blessings become bountiful
As we pray while we endeavor
It's natural and instinctive
Right and good and in accordance
To pray for protection and directives
As obedience grows in importance
Through a morning preparation for the day
First spiritually, then temporally we create
And the primary focus for which we do pray
Is based on the Lord's pattern of how to behave
Then comes a moment for anger and we are not
A moment to speak harshly and we are kind
How thankful that morning prayer was not forgot
As silent gratitudes collect in the mind
Because it's from prayer that we improve
When the evening comes we give account
Still, there were moments we'd to remove
And plead to the Father for counsel about
Thus, to the morning and evening, there's a link
As prayer ties together days without ceasing
And if at times we'd ask for nothing but give thanks
Our heartfelt gratitude would be ever increasing
And, as we strive to emulate the Savior
Even enemies whom we hate we pray for
As we learn of the love for them He hath
And while our prayer links are forever growing

I love to know the remote areas that my poems reach. They never show up in the 7 day data or even in the 24 hours. It is always in the now! I marvel that Singapore and Hong Kong continue to be my top countries.

The emotion of a mother
Left without her son

I was on the phone with a dear friend who has been like a mother to me.
She told me this utube had given her comfort.
She has already lost two children and
now has a daughter with brain cancer
who has progressed to the point she cannot talk.
I watched the video and felt the emotion and
I love the words.
I picture this woman- without the crowd, makeup, and fancy hair
Telling the story out in nature just as Mary would have if she'd been here
I picture this man in flowing gown
on a hillside with angels to surround
They all walked away, with nothing to say. They'd just lost their dearest friend.
All that He said, no He was dead, so this was the way it would end.
The dreams they had dreamed, were not what they'd seemed, now that He was dead and gone.
The garden, the jail, the hammer , the nail. How could a night be so long?
Then came the morning, night turned into day.
The stone was rolled away, hope rose with the dawn.
Then came the morning, shadows vanished before the sun.
Death had lost and Life had won, for morning had come.
The angel, the star, the kings from afar, The wedding, the water, the wine.
Noe it was done, they'd taken her son. Wasted before his time.
She knew it was true, she'd watched him die too, she'd heard then call Him just a man.
But deep in her heart, She knew from the start. Somehow her Son would live again

Disinformation and Self-Evident Truth
The Internet's been disinformationed
And this is more dangerous than one thinks
For untruths never stay at one site, stationed
But travel the world through a series of links
It is hard to retract disinformation! People talk about AI being a threat as it becomes hard to know what's real. Is AI capable of unraveling disinformation? Will we next create something that unravels disinformation and AI to its origins? Do I even know π€ what I'm talking about?
Increasingly, we need to have the power of discernment and go back to old fashioned learning: line upon line- and discover truth for ourselves, through discovery!
Imagine our founding fathers struggling to create a document detailing our freedoms.
We hold these truths to be self evident....
Those inspired words came through a process after the labor of combined thought.
"When American Founder Benjamin Franklin edited Thomas Jefferson’s rough draft of the United States’ Declaration of Independence, he changed the wording of one important phrase from “We hold these truths to be sacred and undeniable” to “We hold these truths to be self-evident.” The notion of “self-evident” truth is the idea that some truths do not require complex reasoning or evidence to prove. Such truths are simply understood by basic, original evidence and man’s innate moral or common sense. They are often called “first principles” upon which other truths and arguments are based. The Declaration of Independence of 1776 conveys the principle of self-evident truth in stating, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” This principle of self-evident truth contributes to the American understanding of and justification for a Creator God, the Law of Nature, and the equality and natural rights of mankind.
