The birth of Jesus came, the promise of peace!
The news was spread through shepherds in the field
Come and seek Him, wonder of wonders never cease!
The prophecy of all ages was fulfilled!
That magical night of nights never grows worn
As the Spirit of Christmas lights upon hearts and homes
It is as warm and tender as holding a newborn
It is that sweet love we feel when for Heaven we hope
