My bishop always says this.  It is what we need in our day just as the people of Moses needed to look to the staff to be saved from the snake bites.

 Some did not do it because they thought it too simple.

I feel like I put a lot of light aside these last few weeks as I took a four-weekend class in addition to the two-night classes.
Going to College is not a spiritual experience for me. I know that institute was the light that kept me on the right path when I got my bachelor's. I love my phone that I could tune out this lecture with Lady Gaga Born This Way (darkly bizarre) and read from Elder Jeffrey R Holland.

What triggers that warm flooding feeling as you start to feel the spirit teaching you?  Is it love, gratitude, a confirming thought that answers prayer, words you read, hear, the song? It is a renewing and growing experience.  It is tender.
