The Baton of Freedom

This Judeo-Christian land
Was founded for a high purpose
The Constitution must stand
As it was paid through blood's purchase
Let logic, common sense, reason,
And righteousness, unite us for inspiration
Pick up your baton of freedom,
And, with faith, fight to heal and revive this nation


I like the idea of a baton. I think of track. You work as a team to get the baton to the finish line. There every member works hard and counts. There is unity, purpose, and focus.
