Always Memorial Day
Is the last Monday in May
Where we remember the price
For freedom that's been paid...
See the flag to God raised briskly
Up to the top of the staff
Then for 1.3 million slowly
It is lowered down to half
In memory of soldiers who are now living
At noon it is re raised to the top again
Where at 3:00 o'clock silent prayers are given
In behalf of the families of the fallen
See our flag waving- proudly, tall
May its symbols remain true
As freedom isn't free at all
We must each self-govern too
