Complacency

Let the government be upon God
For He ruleth the land and the sea
And if our freedoms are all but gone
It is because of our complacency


Taking away basic rights is wrong
For it creates vanity
To act and not be acted upon
Let us reclaim humility

I learned vanity is part of complacency and humility is the answer to being lulled into actual dangers or deficiencies. I would love comments.
