We are who we are, by far
And any one of us can leave a scar
We are here to learn and grow
And love one another, with flaws in tow

What are we to do with these shadows of our past
That as we age, time slows and they largely cast?
Talk frankly of them to all they can reach
That the lesson be learned they are to teach
