Temples are more than stone and mortar
They are built of sacrifice
Through each trial and testimony
They truly are sanctified
Temples are filled with faith and fasting
Even the service of those impoverished
The giving of all for what's everlasting
For what's sacred, holy, and cherished
The temple will see us through
Tribulations and distress.
We link ourselves to our dead too
As to God our love's expressed
President Thomas S. Monson
