Superb and grand
Jesus brought us worth
We're born of His hand

Condescending
Hethe brightest by far
Come of heaven
He is our bright star

To earth He when born
The sign soon was made
A bright star then formed
Glory was laid

Brilliant, aglow
Upon the wee child
A lamb, forth to go
Perfect and mild

To shepherds angels came
Praising in throng
Declaring His name
Concoursing in song

The shepherds went to see
Light glowed... on Him shone
Swaddled... a baby
Their news to make known

To earthly kings
This night was dismissed
Heaven's offering
Was starlight kissed

Who'll come and worship
Our Savior today?
Who in discipleship
Will preach: "He lights the Way!"
