Let the Storm Clouds Gather-Heavy Rains Fall

Let the storm clouds gather
And heavy rains fall upon us
Our hopes will not shatter
As forever we have Jesus

Let us walk uprightly
Keeping commandments as we should
He will conquer mightily....
Let us go about doing good

Fearing not, let us be of good cheer
With faith shining for the future
Immeasurable blessings will appear
As we seek God's word for tutor

Nothing will defeat us

Though the rains pour heavily

His Spirit sustains our hearts

With joy continually

[Verse 1] Let the storm clouds gather And heavy rains fall upon us Our hopes will not shatter As forever we have Jesus Let us walk uprightly Keeping commandments as we should He will conquer mightily And lead us on to what is good [Chorus] Let us go about doing good Fearing not, be of good cheer With faith shining for the future (Immeasurable blessings) Will appear Nothing will defeat us Though the rains pour heavily His Spirit sustains our hearts With joy continually [Verse 2] As we seek God's word for tutor Truth will steady every step We will rise through every downpour Held in all He has kept Let our hands stay open Let our feet keep going on When the night feels endless He will still make us strong [Chorus] Let us go about doing good Fearing not, be of good cheer With faith shining for the future (Immeasurable blessings) Will appear Nothing will defeat us Though the rains pour heavily His Spirit sustains our hearts With joy continually [Bridge] So we lift our eyes higher Past the gray and the flood We are kept by His fire We are covered in love [Final Chorus] Let us go about doing good Fearing not, be of good cheer With faith shining for the future (Immeasurable blessings) Will appear Nothing will defeat us Though the rains pour heavily His Spirit sustains our hearts With joy continually

“I testify to you that our promised blessings are beyond measure. Though the storm clouds may gather, though the rains may pour down upon us, our knowledge of the gospel and our love of our Heavenly Father and of our Savior will comfort and sustain us and bring joy to our hearts as we walk uprightly and keep the commandments. There will be nothing in this world that can defeat us.

“My beloved brothers and sisters, fear not. Be of good cheer. The future is as bright as your faith.”
