In the name of the Son

Invite the Holy Ghost
I know I must listen
To this soft spoken host

As a glove is a cover
In which something can hide
In us we discover
Our spirit's inside

Here's what I do to live the gospel
And come closer unto Christ
I study His example
And see my life with brighter eyes

We may know the truth of all things
There to be taught from what's foremost
As we ponder thoughts and feelings

Jesus Christ
Is the Son of God
And His light
Shines forth from all

He's in you
And in me
For high morals,
Truths, and schooling

From the scriptures
I can almost picture
Jesus upon the earth
Teaching us of our worth

I can almost see Him
With His arms reaching out
Expounding and preaching
Amidst good works throughout

We've His qualities
Of spiritual birth
