It's a Brilliant Warmth to Witness

It's a brilliant warmth to witness
From the tenderest of pleas
That miracle of forgiveness
I found upon my knees

For I poured my heart to Him
Speaking aloud as tears did flow
And I felt the heaven's open
As a warmth in me did grow

I felt so loved and safe
That I did not want to leave
I had found my haven
Of comfort, mercy, and peace

[Verse 1] It's a brilliant warmth to witness From the tenderest of pleas That miracle of forgiveness I found upon my knees [Verse 2] For I poured my heart to Him Speaking aloud with tears in flow And I felt the heavens open As a warmth in me did grow [Chorus] I felt so loved and safe That I did not want to leave I had found my haven Of comfort, mercy, and peace [Bridge] When my strength was nearly gone You received my trembling prayer In the stillness, I was held And knew that You were there [Chorus] I felt so loved and safe That I did not want to leave I had found my haven Of comfort, mercy, and peace [Outro] Comfort, mercy, and peace Your love has carried me
