Shall I Respond to Social Injustice?

I respond to social injustice
By studying values at hand
When there is suffering, I notice
A response in me does demand

But I need not overstep
Things of ultimate value
Nor coerce and make others leap
When I pursue unto this venue

I measure and allocate time
That is but mine to give
One way I can try is through rhyme
Through prayer there is strength I find
To improve the way others live
