Losing Sight of the fullness

Losing sight of the fullness of the gospel
One replayed a single doctrine incessantly
But, like unto a piano key, the sound became awful
For it spiritually dulled unto apostasy...

Those who desire to know the truth in part
Do not discover how truths harmonize
And we must warn of this from the start
For it limits what's before our eyes

For if we're solely absorbed into a talent
A special strength, or commitment
Satan sneaks in to grasp with his talons
To bring us down to our detriment

Beware of the hobby key
That's struck continually
For spiritual growth is ignored-
The fruit of the gospel of the Lord

Gospel Hobbies

They desire to know the truth in part,
but not all D&C 49:2
