A Teenager

A teenager facing a lone birth
Gives her child a start of better worth
In her arms, one last parting kiss
Her heart aches- for what she will miss

Then to the arms of two others goes the babe
Anxious, excited, and thankful
They have practiced, prepared, and prayed
And now as parents they are so careful

Who can love one more than that?
Who can parent better than that?
