Easter is the Season of Hope and Renewal

Easter is the season of hope and renewal
When we honor the advent of the risen Lord
Of all earth’s events, this is the crowning jewel
As the ransom of mankind, only he could afford

As sure as the Redeemer was crucified
He, too, rose triumphant from the tomb
He the lamb without spot, suffered and died
That our lives with our Father might resume

As God’s children, we are the beneficiaries
Of His tender mercy and atoning grace
As such- peace to our minds and hearts, He carries
For He is way, the truth, and the life we embrace
