Your Choice of Music Dims Your Soul

Your choice of music dims your soul
Reduces who you are within your goals
For it deadens love and stirs an endless need
That can't be fed as to but pain it does lead

Raunchy is nothing more than raunchy does
As these composers have not light in their cause
Their lyrics are ever meant to shock and stir
And, of our moral judgment, to block and blur

The parents of teens can attest
That children who listen, rebel and test
It changes their dress and countenance
And in how they study, speak, act, and dance

And when the music is cut off from them
There's great disturbance and mayhem
As though a withdrawl from a substance
So parents beware and take a stance
