When we turn our backs on God, we are lost
On a path of pain to no where as the cost
When we turn around the pain is even more
As we find what we've truly been seeking for
The love we feel enfolds us unto shame
That of God we questioned and then did blame
Then back and forth, we study God's laws out
Until within us we are strong and without doubt
It's a small price to pay to find our way
Into God's arms to trust and obey
Then comes the feeling of gratitude
For second chances and the grandest view!
Studying the gospel is like- Catching a double rainbow; Each drop of wisdom reflects light- Hinting there is more to see and know!
