The Walls of Jerusalem Fell Down

The walls of Jerusalem fell down
And the temple was torn to the ground
Then God's kindgom was to be found no more
For they were to be servants of hard chore

Left unprotected for they had done wrong
They now belonged captive to Babylon
Then after 70 years... a second chance
Through humility taught with circumstance

They accepted the challenge to rebuild
And power of belief and will in them filled
Then the Kingdom of God was built within and without
As the people served with new faith and love came about
