The Jews Witness

He stood upon the cleaved mountain
And below him was a running fountain.
They saw his wounds on hands and feet
And knew who he was whom they did greet.
And as they knelt and gazed upon his marks,
A quiet filled the air as they waited to hear his remarks.

His peaceful words astonished them.
For they'd been the ones to crucify him.
His arms outstretched as to invite,
And they marveled at this wondrous sight.
None spoke a word, they walked forward.
Here stood their Savior, He with glory and speech straightforward.
