HOW CAN WE KNOW?

By the gift and power of the Holy Ghost
We can know and cherish testimony's post
For once received within it enables us
To overcome doubts unto hope and trust

Through this attentive host the scriptures do intstruct
And we've personal revelation to know our roles
With deep and lasting impressions within our soul
There's light and help that we might examine our conduct

Our testimony is like true north on a compass
As all aspects of our life, it can encompass
It is our shield to quench all the fiery darts
As we obey, and enjoy the peace it imparts
As it speaks understanding into our hearts

Our testimonies are measured by faith
Faith is testimony, Testimony is faith
When it's strong we help others seek for truth
Humbly, may they pray, as Joseph did in his youth

We can know where we came from, where we are going
When we've testimonies, clear knowledge is flowing
For a light will arrizes to our understanding (Lorenzo Snow)
That of trials in life we are better at handling

We give our testimony through selfless service
This is our duty and ever our purpose
Our testimony comes with adhesiveness
And as we grow in faith and submit with willingnes
We taste the sweet fruits of faith unto happiness
