Shaping Us As Clay- Grief

God's love remains constant

Midst heartbreaking pain

Trust in His purposes

To shape us as clay

He sees what other's do not

He knows what we can become

On a foundation made firm

So He offers us the Son

Receive the Savior's healing

Let Him influence your life

He knows how you are feeling

Let Him fill you with His Light

He leaves us room to grieve

And troubling questions remain

He sustains. He will not leave

But, He does not fix the pain

For shaping takes much time

And nothing is removed

Each piece builds the design

The cracks smoothed, warmly loved

Invite the Savior in

Humbly welcome Him

He saves us from within

How His hands strengthen
