Washed and Made New Again

Sunday has finally come

Now I will account for the week done

Praying with real intent

Gratefully... how sweet it is to repent

The covenant path restarts here

Weekly renewed...Such cause to cheer

This is His holy chapel

His Spirit...His Light to sample

The prayers, in remembrance

His Spirit, always, the promise

Renewing our covenants

Awe and reverence, we are His

I'm clean.  I am clean

Oh, what a beautiful thing

Washed in His garments of blood

Warm by the Spirit.  Such love.

And next week, I will be back again

Hopefully with a seeking friend

I made it! And the hymn stays with me

Like a prayer still singing, ever gratefully

Here I lay it all down Every burden, every frown He receives me as I am And I seek to learn what I can

What will it sound like when Jewish communities become members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints?  I don't know that they use the piano in their songs.  Although there are many music celebrations at BYU Jerusalem and they have a lovely organ.

Kinnor: Often referred to as the Jewish lyre, it is one of the oldest instruments in Jewish culture, mentioned numerous times in the Hebrew Bible. It is primarily used in sacred music

Moderately tempo 82–92 BPM,  string orchestra with kinnor solo
