Run- But Not From Who You Are

  

Give yourself a few hours

To escape from the world

To regain spiritual power

and receive Light and truth

You may feel you need an escape

But, never run from who you really are

Or minimize God's Light within

Remember His angels are never far

Every disciple of Jesus

Will have difficult issues to face

Sometimes we might want to 

Run away as though being chased

You can run away from where you are

But not from who you truly are

Heavenly Fathers  loves us

And is never distant or far

Our Father is always ready 

to forgive and not forsake

To Him, we are truly precious

For our return He does await

For this life, our education

We've spiritual gifts and light

We've miracles and revelation

And the atonement of Jesus Christ

On both sides of the veil

We've angels tending before

Have faith, for all is well

From your escape, resume once more

We might sometimes want to run away from where we are, but we certainly should never run away from who we are—children of the living God who loves us, who is always ready to forgive us, and who will never, ever forsake us. 

You are His most precious possession. You are His child, to whom He has given prophets and promises, spiritual gifts and revelations, miracles and messages, and angels on both sides of the veil.

In a world that so desperately needs all the light it can get, please do not minimize the eternal light God put in your soul before this world was.
