Today is a sad day

A day of goodbye

A loved one passed away

Gone physical ties

A time of giving back

Of what she received from others

A time to honor love

With thanks for what life truly offers

A time of paying forward

By becoming something more

Looking more heavenward

With faith in forever more

Feeling close to our Father

Feeling close to our Savior
