I struggle in my troubles
Daily there is no peace.
Till I turn to our Father
And the restless heart finds ease!
He knows my heart, what I'm feeling

To serve Him, share His love
And let His pure light lead

I know when I've the spirit

And my heart thrills to hear it

I was playing Away in a Manger and these words started to unfold to the melody. It was a lovely experience.  Does anyone else come up with their own words to favorite hymns?
