Time is an Unknown

 

Time is an unknown for us all

At any moment our end can call

An accident or our body shuts down

Eventuality will be shown

Too, repentance calls for each

The opportunity awaits

The Lord is ever within reach

Till that unknown time...then, it's too late

All the while there's missed chances

Of  finding who you are meant to be

And loving experiences

That offer glimpses of eternity

What a precious gift is repentance

To come to know our Redeemer

To be freed and given a fresh chance

To be saved - atoned for, indeed

Please look long into the mirror

And see the love the Lord has for you

Imagine Him inviting, nearer

Offering what only repentance can do

Sanctification where you are clean anew

1 Corinthians 6:2 For he said, I have answered you in an acceptable time, and I have helped you on the day of salvation: behold, now is the acceptable time; and behold now is the day of salvation.
