Teachers, It's Summer

Vacation time is here

Let go of the nightmares

Remember with good cheer

The laughter in the classroom

How you dressed the part

The victories when students bloom

How each filled your heart

All June and July, sleep well

And fill your bucket with love

Make memories to tell

Your next students what you are made of

Tell them of  passed years

And remind them, they'll come back

For hugs, thanks and cheer

As great leaders, on track

First grade wore me out this year. Each day, I went home ate a snack and fell asleep, then ate dinner and stayed up late. I woke up early and did it all over again.  Rest, recuperate, rejuvenate- teachers. Then go out and make new experiences!
